TEACHING PHILOSOPHY
My goal as a teacher is to prepare my students for their daily musical lives and to help them discover and reach their musical goals. I strongly believe that every element of music lessons and the student-teacher relationship should serve to foster growth and development, sustainable habits, and imaginative creativity.
I meet students where they are. Experience teaching students with a widely varied musical backgrounds and skill-levels has led me to understand that the best lessons are tailored to the needs of the individual student.
LESSON FORMAT
My rates are:
30-minute lessons: $50/lesson
1-hour lessons: $80/lesson
I recommend that beginning/intermediate students consider 30-minute lessons and intermediate/advanced students consider 1-hour lessons.
